After having Emeka present in class a few times and I had started taking his advice seriously, I noticed almost an immediate change in my college atmosphere. All of a sudden a ton of hidden opportunities became available, whether it be scholarships, jobs, or campus events. I also got more out of my professors and really made the most out of my semester. I highly recommend this book ! I wish I finished it earlier. I'm a current student at UMass Boston, and this is a must read for all college students. This book gave me a different outlook on college. It helped me build better relationships with my professors, I noticed active improvement in my grades, and I'm making better choices involving my time management for school. This book made me feel better about my present and future state in college. Everyone in life needs a mentor.

As a principal I realize how important the transition is from high school to college. This is a wonderful, quick read book. It is a must have book for all college bound seniors. It will help them to navigate that very important first year of college.
